The Challenge
An education organization wanted to look beyond immediate priorities and consider what its community would need from an important public institution by the end of the decade.
The ambition was broad. The organization needed a process that could hear honest feedback from the people closest to the institution, identify where genuine consensus existed, surface concerns that might otherwise remain fragmented, and turn that information into a focused agenda leadership could use.
Locked On's Approach
Locked On Strategies developed the framework for a multi-month 2030 visioning initiative.
The firm helped design a representative committee, establish the research methodology, develop stakeholder questions, and create a confidential process for gathering candid input from parents, educators, students, and community members.
More than 250 responses ultimately became part of the research.
Locked On Strategies then moved from collection to analysis, looking across individual responses for the themes that persisted across constituencies. The process surfaced both strong confidence in the institution and areas where stakeholders saw meaningful opportunities for improvement.
Those findings were translated into five long-term recommendations addressing priorities such as academic outcomes, organizational culture, talent, facilities, and leadership.
What Leadership Received
Locked On Strategies developed the final report and presentation, bringing the research, recommendations, and long-range vision together into one coherent agenda. In addition, Locked On built the media and release strategy to ensure maximum impact.
Leadership received an organized framework for understanding what its community valued, where concerns were converging, and which issues warranted sustained attention over the years ahead.
Locked On Strategies helps leaders move from broad questions and competing perspectives to the clarity, strategy, and structure needed to act.
