The firm is intentionally built around direct access to senior-level experience. Clients work with Taylor Hall, with trusted specialists brought in when an engagement calls for additional expertise. That structure allows Locked On to stay close to the context, move quickly, and assemble the right resources without adding unnecessary layers.

Our Founder / Principal
Meet Taylor Hall
Taylor Hall brings more than two decades of experience helping leaders navigate the intersection of organizations, politics, communications, and public life.
His career has included executive counsel, public affairs, organizational planning, advocacy, political work, crisis response, and communications for high-visibility initiatives. That breadth gives him an unusual ability to see how a decision in one area can create consequences somewhere else.
Taylor is particularly drawn to challenges where the answer is not obvious: a leader weighing competing options, an organization entering unfamiliar terrain, an initiative that needs structure and momentum, or a situation where the politics extend well beyond electoral politics.
Taylor serves as a major in the Air National Guard. That experience, in addition to civilian work, has helped shape how Locked On approaches projects: understand the terrain, identify what could change, consider the second- and third-order effects of a decision, and prepare leaders before the situation becomes urgent.
We describe that ability as seeing around corners: asking the next question early enough that clients have more options when circumstances change.
Why Taylor Launched Locked On Strategies
Taylor launched Locked On Strategies to create an organization for the kind of work he was already being asked to do: step into complicated situations, help leaders make sense of them, and stay involved long enough to move something forward.
His experience has never fit neatly into one lane. Public policy, politics, communications, organizational planning, crisis response, and implementation have often overlapped. Locked On was built around that reality, giving Taylor the freedom to follow the problem, bring together the right people and resources, and help clients move from a question or challenge to action.
The firm is also grounded in a personal rule of life that has shaped the kinds of people, institutions, and causes Taylor is drawn to serve:

That conviction helps explain his interest in institution-building, public service, education, community leadership, and work where thoughtful decisions can create meaningful opportunities for others.
Taylor lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with his wife, Sally, and their three sons. He is active at St. Paul’s Anglican Church and remains involved in both civic and military service.
